1940. After the fall of France, teams of Nazi occultists and scientists converge on Gevaudan to study a small and much-feared relict population.

1942. Projekt Fenris Sturm is launched but languishes for two years as an increasingly desperate Germany looks for other quick means towards victory.

1944. Hitler announces the start of Operation Fenris Sturm. Otto Skorzeny is the first actual volunteer for Serum Fenris.

1945. Lt. Hiroyuki Tanaka, far from his native San Jose, wins the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism during the Fenris offensive.

I'd been playing with the idea of making a d20 modern game with this sort of stuff, but alternate WWII with Nazi zombies and so on seems to have gotten so big lately that I've largely abandoned the idea. Maybe I should go back to it?

maybe, or modern whatnots always works too. The thing with nazi's is they were into a great deal of occult so you dont really have to look far for inspiration. Though I fear if you do modern times people will scoff at nazis unless its greatly explained.

Yeah. I know the NDSAP had its roots in the Thule Society, and therefore they had some seriously crackpot ideas to harvest. I dunno - I'm not sure whether it's such a rich source of ideas that everyone really can do Nazis-with-occult and still have them be original.

Oh no, by this point its most deffinently not original. Infact I think it's increadibly rare to be able to pull off anything truly original anymore. Part of the reason why I'm starting to hate most other gamers. People can't just accept something if its good, but only if it brings something new to the table.. and what really does that these days?

I'm glad you included the text along with this drawing in particular. Your ability to do one-off illustrations really floors me! ex. You didn't just do a Nazi werewolf and a G.I. in power armor duking it out, you made the G.I. a Japanese-American and drew his armor with a rollbar/bulldozer appearance for half-wearing & half-riding. (Another example of one-off is how you got inspired by D&D trios of miniatures that initially depicted the same character at low, medium, and high levels. Whatever you're eating for breakfast every morning, keep it up.)
