Hooray, an ithorian! I love those guys, something about their design is phenomenal... probably that they aren't as plainly humanoid as most other species in SW.

More puppet, less "dude in a mask" than a lot of SW designs. The artist who came up with these guys was Ron Cobb, not Ralph McQuarrie like I originally thought - I'd never heard of him before a little while back! He has a website at [link] without much in the way of art, but there is some. He turns out to have worked on so many really cool films!

Ithorians are pretty much the coolest looking SW race in my book - though the Mon Calamari come fairly close!

Ithorians seem to be the ideal Jedi, but there aren't enough of them. By the way, which is jedi and which is sith? It would be pretty cool to have an Ithorian sith too.
