Of celestial descent by Pachycrocuta Of celestial descent by Pachycrocuta
Paizo's "Blood of Angels" splatbook wound up being a lot more fun than I anticipated. (I mean... tieflings, sure. Nothing's cooler than a good guy who's a redeemed bad guy, or someone trying to overcome social censure. But what do you do with a character type all too easily classed as goody-good paladins and clerics?)

Something I thought was really fun were the rules for creating aasimar characters descended from different types of celestials. I'm still really trying to cope with a batch of stuff, so it was a fun thing to work on. Left to right; angel-blooded, agathoin-blooded, a generic aasimar, azata-blooded, archon-blooded.

Ha! Love the "Wham" where he's shield-bashing that skeleton.

The one on the far right makes me think of Tiulk from Stargate SG-1. xD Is that Hebrew writing floating above him?
Anywho, awesome pic!

Those actually are hebrew letters, but there aren't any words in there. It's just a series of letters.

All the same, the drawings are really amazing.

Very nice assortment here! Unsurprisingly I really like the agathoin-blooded one. I'd love to see Hound Archon and Lillend descendants some day :) Thanks again for sharing your very cool art!

Hey, pretty cool stuff! Aasimars have always suffered from being seen, and portrayed, as kind of bland. Good to hear BoA does it better!

Am I correct in assuming that agathoins and azatas are the PF equivalents of guardinals and eladrin?

Very nice drawings! I like the generic aasimar the in particular :)

In my own Planescape novel, Odd Jobs [link] a tiefling and an aasimar are the best of friends, along with a fey-touched :D
