Not sure whether I want to try finishing this out or not; some things didn't work that well.
Sort of a counterpart piece. I was thinking about the old Elfquest RPG, where they suggest a desert-dwelling tribe of elves with jackals as animal companions, and a little that older druids would get more animalistic looking the more they changed shape.
Those hobgoblins are in for one nasty surprise.

Hey I caught your image on google search for something else, and was drawn to the style. I like the impact delivered by the simple line weight, along with the attention to fore and field. There's still some room for improvement in the hands though, and the shoulders look a bit off. I like the simple stylized guys around the fire. This thing just begs to be colored. I think I'll take a look at some more of your work, it's very pleasing.
