the heavy heavy monster sound by Pachycrocuta the heavy heavy monster sound by Pachycrocuta
Really huge graphic is a compilation of a batch of little individual monster pictures.

I've been contributing art to this upcoming game, "Blood & Treasure." Out of all the parts I worked on, I was the most stoked about doing Monster Manual pictures. The monsters are the real stars of D&D for me. There are about four illustrations that I didn't composite in here, but the guys who did make it in are (top to bottom, left to right roughly);

behir
horned devil
marilith
batfolk
centaur
mummy
kitsune
locathah
lammasu
wight
sahuagin
succubus
cockatrice
gnoll
nalfeshnee
ghaele
flail snail

Oh, these guys were all separate little drawings - and they were all in little clusters of 3-7 each. So it actually wasn't as difficult as it might seem!

great stuff here, what gets my attention is the heavy cavalry centaur, which I just don't see much of. Centaurs are generally depicted as stone or bronze age if feeling generous, so one in full plate harness is a neat idea. The Cinquedea dagger is great, Though I'd figure the sword would be aligned more along the body to stay out of the way. Just add a plume to the helmet and an arret to the right side of the plackart to couch the lance, and I think he's good to go. =)

Flail snail? Okay, the name alone makes that awesome...
